Empower Church: Our Story.
"In September of 2022, in prayer, we felt the Lord say, 'something is about to change.' This simple, yet scary, statement was the beginning of Empower Church. In the months following, God gave us clarity to leave our full-time ministry positions behind in Waco, Texas, and move back to Iowa, our home state. We didn’t know why God was calling us back to Iowa, but we took the step of faith, trusting that He would direct our next steps.
Since then, God has birthed a passion and burden in us for the city of Norwalk. We see so much potential in this community, and we believe God has a powerful plan for the people here. Our desire is to see the people of Norwalk loved, transformed, and empowered by Jesus. To fulfill that vision, we are planting Empower Church in Spring 2025. Come join us!”
